About Chris Sotiriadis
Chris Sotiriadis is a self taught fine art artist living in London, ON - Canada. When not working for Western Libraries he can be found outdoors on hiking and walking trails in and around the London area honing his artistic skills as a conduit for the natural environment to express itself. In the last decade, Chris has worked primarily with water as his medium of choice, drawing from his life experience to show how it is a mirror for humanity. His water abstracts demonstrate how water not only reflects but remembers, given the proper conditions, memories of the past that can resurface and communicate to us in the present. Shows to Date: June 2009 - Ice-Painting Quartet at Spencer Gallery in The D. B. Weldon Library, Western...

Very fun!
Chris Sotiriadis replied:
Thank you! Was quite surprised to stumble across that crane on a post while hiking.

My twin sister folds origami cranes for a project against domestic violence she started. It's called the Crane Project, victim's and supporters of non-violence sign a crane and then it is glued to a statute of a woman. I love this photograph!
Chris Sotiriadis replied:
What a wonderful project. Thank you Donna!

Yes, a different version. I have a few more in the series from different perspectives and distances.

A different version? I like the close cropping better! v
